Fibroadenoma

A fibroadenoma is a benign (non-cancerous) breast lump most commonly seen in younger women. It is made up of glandular and fibrous breast tissue and usually feels smooth, firm, and mobile (“rubbery”) on examination. Fibroadenomas are not cancer but may increase in size, cause discomfort, or create anxiety, which is why assessment and follow-up are important.
